Her Excellency received Alliance Care now delegates at her office.

H.E. Dr. Ergogie Tesfaye (PHD), Minister of Women and Social Affairs talked with Alliance Care Now (ACN) based in Fairfax Virginia, led by Naomi Haile, Founder, President and CEO (chief Executive Officer). H.E Dr. Ergogie welcomed the delegates on the behalf of Ethiopian government and her selves and she extends her thanks to Ambassador Engineer Sileshi Bekele (PHD.),the Ambassador of Ethiopian Embassy to U.S.A for linking our ministry with such relevant organization towards to our responsibility. H.E Dr. Ergogie also briefed the huge tasks of the ministry that deals with the social affair of women, children, youth, elders, persons with disabilities and family issues.

The discussion was focused on scaling up local volunteer movement for the care of vulnerable families in Ethiopia trough supplemental programs, in education (after school),’health (community satellite clinic), jobs (mentoring/internship) and social services (child care for homeless mothers) to others regional states apart from Addis Ababa.

They discussed also made on various social affairs and bilateral issues with commitment for enhancing to curb the children challenge at national and regional levels. The Ministry and Alliance Care now have agreed to sign MOU in the near futur
